When will I get out of the "awkward stage"?

I am 15 turning 16, in 7 months and I noticed all these other girls my age are getting out of the awkward stage, I seen a girl I once new from the 6th grade at the store the other day and she use to be really chubby and butch, and when I seen her she was super thin with great legs, long downy hair, and wearing a dress? All these girls they are thinning out there getting happier with themselves or they make it appear that way, there skin is clearing up, I just feel stuck not to mention so out of place, I am not happy with myself! I hate my body, I don鈥檛 like my boobs, I think I am ugly, I don鈥檛 like wearing makeup...I have never had a boyfriend....when will I get out of that awkward stage when I am comfortable with myself? Everyone has that "swan" moment when they go from the ugly duckling to a swan...

|||I can guarantee all those girls still feel awkward about themselves, it's called being a teenager.

Once you accept that some things won't change, you'll feel better.

Try dressing to suit your shape, if you go onto Trinny and Susannah's web page about body shapes, it makes it easier.

Boys are probably already looking.

Good luck, you are still young! You have your whole life to be glamourous! |||don't worry about it. i'm 20 and i still brake out (sucks). Don't worry about your boobs, there are plenty of beautiful woman with small breasts (megan good, camron diaz, and megan fox). Also, if you want to lose weight, work out.

the boy friend thing: dont worry-- be nice, meet people, and eventually you'll find a prince charming. Make sure you dont get with a boy with a bad reputation; they have one for a reason.|||aww don't feel down, im sure your a pretty girl this coming from a guy. Keep your head up. Not every girl becomes beautiful overnight. Some take longer than others. Just because you haven't had a boyfriend doesnt reflect the way you look. You have your personality as well. Let the change happen naturally, don't push it. Your boobs still have time to grow. You wil become a swan soon. If you force it, it won't work. Remmeber always think of the glasss half full rather than empty. Its all about the mind. Hoped that helped a bit
