Connecting two pcs WITHOUT a cable but via wireless router?

i have two pcs using the same Netgear wireless router. I would like to use the smaller pc to store my back up from my usual pc.

so...I would like PC1 to recognise PC2 as the destination when I do a back up.

Thats stage two...I dont now how to do that either

Set both computer names to the same workgroup and enable sharing in the folders
My Network Places
View Workgroups

Name is in My Computer properties
The computer names need to be diffrent but he workgroup Name needs to be the same|||If both PCs are on the same hub - then they are on the same network - usually MSHOME - any SHARED folders on one PC should be accessible from the other via MY NETWORK PLACES - you may need to ADD the network place - and go via MSHOME to find the PC.



What you are trying to do is eminently possible as I am doing it myself!
