Early stage PCOS, on Metformin and TTC. Any success stores out there?

My Fiance and I have been TTC for over a year now, with no luck. I was just diagnosed with PCOS, My doc says its in the very early stage as i dont have any cysts. I started on Metformin 500mg daily. My doc says that I have a pretty high chance of getting pregnant within the first couple of months after starting the Metformin, which I'm hoping is true. I was wondering if anyone had any success with just Metformin, and what are my chances of carrying to full term if I do conceive?Early stage PCOS, on Metformin and TTC. Any success stores out there?

Hi there. I too have pcos. Unfortunalty mine was discovered late and my ovaries are covered in cysts. I took metformin but it had no affect what so ever. 5 years ago I had 4 rounds of clomid tha did not work. I was over weight and very unhappy in my life. We had a break from treatment, I lost two stone, got a new job and a new house. ( I used to be in a horrible flat) last November I had another go at clomid and in august my beautiful son arrived! Loosing weight and being happier made all the difference. It can be a long road but there is light, I'm proof of that! Just relax and try not to stress over it.
