Accidentally bought stage 2 veggies instead of one?

accidentally bought and fed my 6 mo. old 2nd foods peas instead of 1st foods. it still seems thin enough and he ate it fine though....(after the first couple bites of what the heck cause hes never had anything but cereal) anyways since he ate it fine do you think its ok until i get to the store to buy more?Accidentally bought stage 2 veggies instead of one?
Oh, dear.

The numbers are just a marketing gimmick. You can feed him whatever you like.
If he eats it and dont have a problem with it feed it to him...Accidentally bought stage 2 veggies instead of one?
As long as it isn't to thick, go for it. If it is, add a little formula, breast milk, juice or water!
YES! If he eats it without problem, feed it to him! :))Accidentally bought stage 2 veggies instead of one?
It's totally fine.
I never even gave my son cereal's or Stage 1's to begin with at all.... We started straight onto Stage 2's... as someone else said, the numbers on the jar are just a money making gimmick. The stage 1's and stage 2's are exactly the same thing but the 2's come in a bigger jar, therefore are cheaper in the long run.

The only thing about Stage 2 foods is that they offer combination flavors (ie: Strawberry Bananna, Peas %26amp; Carrots,etc.)... and you don't want to feed him those until he's had each thing separately to make sure there's no allergies.
My boys were eating Big Macs at 6 months old.
