I know that carbs are needed before and after a hard workout to replenish glycogen stores in muscles. But other times negate carbs and follow ketosis plan will you pack on tons of muscle in a matter of weeks?Can you build muscle by lifting weights in ketosis stage eating fats and proteins only?
It's very very difficult to build muscle when you're on a ketogenic diet.
Protein and fats are the building blocks of muscle tissue but carbs are needed to FUEL the muscle building process.
However, you can use a targeted Ketogenic diet where you only have carbs Post workout.
So all your meals would be P/F with the PWO meal being P/C. This will give you the best of both worlds.
Matter of weeks? No. Muscle building takes years of consistency.
