Does MAC makeup have oils and is it bad for your skin ?

i have been using MAC for a while now but i just recently did some research and i have found out that it is very bad if you are acne prone. I also heard it is stage makeup and very heavy... then heard that the makeup sold in stores is specifically made for everyday use

what is your opinion and what is the truth ?|||MAC is a professional makeup brand. They do however cater for both the general public and makeup artists. This means that they have a variety of products to suit various needs from stage to everyday.

Generally, try not to wear foundation everyday. It's good to give your skin a break and to let it breath!

I sometimes just use a translucent powder from MAC. It doesn't offer coverage but just gives your skin a nice finish.

Otherwise, I use the Face and Body Foundation from MAC. It's great if you have good skin and just want to even out your skin tone without it looking heavy - it's also gives you a natural glow as it's water-based. If you don't want the glow, just use some translucent powder to give it a matte look.|||Well MAC make up can be for everyday and even "stage" use. The thing is that their foundations (like the studio fix line) have a heavier composition so it gives you a really good coverage but it is more heavier for your skin as compared to clinique or even other drugstore foundation brands. I honestly think it depends on each person's skin because some people with oily skin don't have a problem with the foundation. I personally like the foundation but it broke me out so I can't use it. I do like their eye shadows and lipsticks but I think other companies make just as good or even better eye make up (sephora, urban decay, NYX).
