I know your going to be thinking well it depends on which store, how big they are etc... But when I got my rats ( last September) they had all of their Fur and everything but they were still small so its the stage where they aren't dependent on their mom but they aren't adults. Do you know how many days or months old a typical baby rat from petco is?|||Usually the age varies to how long they have been there for but usually you would ask one of the workers there and they will provide you with all the information you need.
Good luck :)|||Typically they are between 4-7 weeks old. They are often weaned too early (around 3-4 weeks) from their mothers and shipped to the stores, so it depends how long they have been in the store.|||They look about 5 to 6 weeks old or so, give or take a week.
I got my baby rats when they were 6 weeks old, but not from petco, i got mine at shelter.|||A day old
