I know I asked before, but I want to get one more go at this. Brawl Stage Studio : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NX7dl8ngh鈥?/a>
It is not Homebrew. It does not modify the system. It just lets you create better custom Brawl stages than you can with the in-game stage maker. All stages would be stored exclusively on the SD card and not transferred to the Wii itself. I know name the save the file to EXACTLY mimic the format of the Wii-made stages.
I am currently under the impression that this will NOT void my Wii's warranty. Just like downloading other shared stages and playing on them wouldn't. My posed question is whether or not this is correct? And would using BSS stages still show in the Wii memory even if they're exclusively on the SD Card?
I would /prefer/ an answer from someone who has used BSS and then successfully (or unsuccessfully) sent their Wii out for cleaning under warranty. This is my main concern.Brawl Stage Studio Question?
If it's just on the SD card then it won't void your warranty. Only modifications made to the Wii voids the warranty.
I've never heard of Brawl Stage Studio so I have never used it, but I do have homebrew and back up loaders installed on my Wii. When my Wii stopped reading discs all I did was moved the homebrew channels to the last page of the Wii Menu and they didn't even notice it. You should be fine.
