Need Help With A Job Application?

I am filling out an application for Peebles ( a clothing store) the one question is List any work related talent or skills and tell us why you want to work for Stage Stores. What type of information should I include as to why I would like to be employed there. the true reason is that I need a job (I lost mine) and I thought that was ideal due to the discounts given to employees. However, I do not feel I should state it that way. What should I say? Any suggestions?Need Help With A Job Application?
When applying for a job in customer service always include that you have excellent people skills. Also, if it tends to be a busier place, you could also say that you work well under pressure. Employeers tend to see that as a plus. Of course, if neither of those applies to you, don't lie. But it doesn't hurt to 'ham up' your application a bit.



As far as the reason you want to work there, I wouldn't suggest saying you were interested in the employee discounts. Say something like "I believe I would be an excellent addition to the Peebles team." Or something about you being interested in a position in the retail industry. Not sure if that's too corny for you but, hey. It has worked for me.Need Help With A Job Application?
Just tell them you have very good customer service and that your feel you would be an asset to the company.
