Is my college basically its own society for a reason?

We have our own power plant. We have our own foodsource. (It's an agricultural college) We have stores inside campus that will give you anything you could possibly need. We have living places, and a park. We have entertainment, a movie theater, a stage, and stadiums. We have our own internal government, judicial system, and security.



Did they make this its own society for a reason?Is my college basically its own society for a reason?
Yes.. colleges are a miniature society.. You have all types of people there.
