Caught my son watching porn, what should I do?

I caught my 15 year old son watching porn, but i just told him its time to go to bed. it wasn't exactly just "bikines". Whats the best thing I can do at this stage.





- Let him do what he wants, but explain thats not how you should treat reality relationships.





- Tell him he shouldn't look at that type of stuff and install a web safety filter.





i've previously heard that even if you completely delete internet history off you're computer it is still stored inside the computer and can never be completely deleted, is this true?





Thanks.|||Take away the computer or put the computer in the kitchen where he won't be alone. If you simply "allow" him to do it you are not showing him good moral values and how he should be respectful towards woman. A few men I know were allowed to look at porn when they were teens and it tuned into an addiction that didn't go away. Needless to say one of the wifes found it on the computer (after the husband thought He deleted history) and there marriage is in turmoil over it. He confessed was "addicted" and it has done nothing but break her spirit and trust in him. Show him NOW how to treat women later.|||You can't try to ban him from viewing porn because he'll still get it if he wants it. The best thing you can do is answer his questions about sex and relationships, or at least let him know that you're approachable if he wants to talk about it. I think it's important to reinforce the fact that people aren't just pieces of meat to be used as one sees fit.





Re: internet history - yes, it can be recovered in certain cases, but that's an expert scenario really.|||At 15, I think it's perfectly normal to watch porn. Be relieved that he's expressing his sexuality by watching porn and not by having sex. Least with porn the only virus you have to worry about is on your computer!|||Let the kid watch porn. It's natural to be aroused and taking that away isn't right. I wouldn't explain anything because I highly doubt that those situations are actually going to happen to him.|||Hes 15 hes changing and experiencing new things, It is completly normal for 15 year olds to be intrested in that kind of thing.|||He sounds like a normal, healthy 15-year-old boy to me!





I would let him watch the porn, but I would also make sure he understands that real women get more respect in real life.|||Leave him alone.
