Need help finding the right point of sale system for second hand store.?

I AM IN THE PLANNING STAGE OF OPENING A SECOND HAND STORE. I AM TRYING TO FIND THE RIGHT POINT OF SALE SYSTEM. I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING ONLINE BUT I DON'T REALLY WANT TO PAY A FURTUNE. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATE IT.|||How big is the business? We have 2 stores. One of which has been in biz for 22 years....opened by my mother. Our children's store was opened July 2nd, 07. The kids boutique sells new items as well as takes in new and gently used apparel from customers. As a POS system can be costly, there are other options that work just fine.
