My periods are not regular at all and they never have been. Sometimes I go for three months without one at all!
I DO NOT HAVE MEDICAL INSURANCE. For the next few months the only thing I can afford is pregnancy tests from the dollar store and I don't know how reliable those are! Are they more accurate the more you pay for them?
My boyfriend smokes weed and I drink occasionally and I know how bad that is for a baby in the first stages, so in order to help me determine WHEN to take said tests and save me a little frustration, PLEASE tell me what symptoms you or someone you know experienced that turned out to be pregnancy-related! Thank you very much!|||On Sep. 16th, 2006 ((I was 16)) I went to the mall with my friend and boyfriend and while waiting an hour for a movie I managed to eat a meal from Panda Express, a meal from Sarku Japan, 3 slices of Sbarro's pizza, a giant pretzel, a Jamba Juice, and an Oreo Overload from Cold Stone.
I stole a Clearblue test from the local pharmacy, and they came out positive. I took the tests the day after my expected period.
Wait at least a week after you're expecting your visit and then test. Or hit up Planned Parenthood and get a blood test.|||I had headaches, felt bloated, and puked constantly. I was 22. And, I think the over the counter tests are pretty reliable because you only produce the hormone that they respond to if you're pregnant.|||Here are some information you may want to read.
Good luck =)
1. A missed menstrual period is most often the first sign of pregnancy, although a woman may still experience some bleeding or spotting around the time of the expected period. However, if a woman does not have regular menstrual cycles, she may notice some of the other symptoms of early pregnancy before it is apparent that the menstrual period has been missed.
2. Feelings of breast swelling, tenderness, or pain are also commonly associated with early pregnancy. These symptoms are sometimes similar to the sensations in the breasts in the days before an expected menstrual period.
3. Nausea and vomiting are also common in early pregnancy. Traditionally referred to as "morning sickness," the nausea and vomiting associated with early pregnancy can occur at any time of the day or night. Most women who have morning sickness develop nausea and vomiting about one month after conception, but it may develop sooner in some women.
4. Fatigue and tiredness are symptoms experienced by many women in the early stages of pregnancy. The cause of this fatigue has not been fully determined, but it may be related to changes in hormone levels.
5. Some women may experience feelings of abdominal enlargement or bloating, but there is usually only a small amount of weight gain in the first trimester or pregnancy. In this early stage of pregnancy a weight gain of about one pound per month is typical.
6. A woman in the early stages of pregnancy may feel she has to urinate frequently, especially at nighttime, and she may leak urine with a cough, sneeze, or laugh. This is due to the growing uterus pressing upon the bladder.
7. A persistently elevated basal body temperature (as occurs after ovulation) is another characteristic sign of early pregnancy.
8. Women may notice a deepening of the color of the area surrounding the nipple, called the areola and/or a dark line going down from the middle of the central abdomen area to the pubic area.
9. Some women may develop a so-called "mask of pregnancy" in the first trimester, referring to a darkening of the skin on the forehead, bridge of the nose, or cheekbones. Doctors refer to this condition as melasma or chloasma, and it is more common in darker-skinned women than those with lighter skin. Melasma can also occur in some conditions other than pregnancy.
10. Finally, mood swings and stress are common symptoms reported by many women in the early stages of pregnancy.|||Well symptoms vary by person and until you find out i suggest you stop drinking because that is not only putting you in harm but also a possible baby ! and as for the irregular periods i had those to until my doctor put me on a special b.c pill. But if i were you i would tell ur boyfriend to lend you some of his weed money and go to walgreen and buy you a good reliable test and if that comes out neg. and ou still don't have one you might have to take drastic measures nd go to a hospital and get tested or find a center in your town whom offers free test !|||My boobs went from a small c to a DD in a very short period of time. I was very moody I didn't notice but my mother in law did.|||i am 14 and i am 12 weeks and one day i had Nausea, Heartburn, Constipation, Colds, Backache, Headaches and Sleep Disturbances. Pregnancy test and very good but i didn't know untill i was 8 or 9 weeks. All you can do is take one and see if you are. If you are you need to go to the doc. Also no you do not need to smoke weed or drink it's not just bad in the first stages it bad in every stage. Unless you want the baby dead you'll stop. I hate to put it like that but thats what happens.
