Stage Four Lymphatic Cancer

My mom was just diagnosed with this ailment. She is still in the process of receiving more specific testing to find out the best treatment options. I realize the severity of this situation. I have faith that she will recover. But my questions are: 1. What are we in store for in terms of treatment and effects, 2. What is the best case scenerio and worst case scenerio for this diagnosis|||There are a variety of lymphatic cancers so in order to research the matter and becomed as well informed as you can you need to determine exactly which type she has.

I've had cancer (a type of teratocarcinoma) which, along with my lungs and bones, spread throughout my lymphatics. One radiologist remarked that I had so many tumors my scans looked like star charts.

But I did not have specifically a lymphatic cancer. I know over the course of several years I had surgery, radiation therapy and endured 8 different kinds of chemo. My chances at first were considered to be zero. That was going on 13 years ago and obviously here I still am! =O

So whatever the case, never give up hope, because the seemingly impossible can and occasionally does happen. Meanwhile, find out exactly what type she has and google it. There's a wealth of information about it all on the net.

The very best to you both!|||Which kind of lymphoma is it? I have Hodgkins lymphoma. 6 months chemo and then youre free. Non-Hodgkins is bad news. They knew it was Hodgkins after a few blood tests and the first lymphnode biopsy. You need to know exactly what type of cancer it is in order to determine treatment. Best of luck.|||Hello, I am a Siddha (B.S.M.S) doctor by profession from Chennai, Tamilnadu,INDIA and involved in new drug research %26amp; discovery, have medicines for CANCER %26amp; HIV/AIDS.
