What colors would look on me? Like what would stand out on the stage.
Can you RENT dresses from stores??
would purple be a bad choice? or red? cause these are colors I already have. (kind of dark =[.. not too elegant right?)
I dont know help me!
*plz answer all my questions!|||I believe a white or some kind of pastel would be pretty...yes you can rent dresses or you can go (if you have them) to your local goodwill or thrift store and find really gorgeous dresses at really gorgeous prices!! Purple would be good I think Red too maybe...it depends on how it is cut and how well it fits you...I think a deep purple would be pretty too...I would stay away from yellow and green unless it is a hunter green or something like that....but with a pastel or lighter color your completion will look really nice and will kinda make the dress "pop" I think. Or having something stand out on your dress....like a white dress with a red waist line a....you know like a thin red stripe around your waist....I think white and black pageant dresses are GORGEOUS because you dont see alot of them!! I had a custom made burgundy and pink dress for a pageant and I won!!....it doesnt sound pretty but it was....I think older style dresses stand out more!! I think showing off your upper chest and shoulders makes a dress look good too...like a strapless or spagetti strap!! Hope I helped!! Good Luck I hope you win!!|||sapphire blue or lavender... i dont know really... just thinking hp(yule ball)|||Light green-- like a mossy green or light blue are the colors that would compliment your skin tone the best. It is the color opposite your skin tone on the color wheel.|||I would say a color like maroon or a deep purple/plum. Any nice, deep color. They would look awesome on you if you have a brown complexion. Avoid any pastel colors.|||I would suggest any colour would look fine for your skin. I'd suggest dark colours only because it's evening- nothing too bright as it would look a little dazzling.
My wife has coffee skin too- she's Indonesian. She thinks light colours make her look darker- but it doesn't she's the same colour with different clothes on- it's maddening!|||well if you have darkish tan skin then turquoise or red always looks smashing. but if you want to look a little more elegent then try a light pink . and don't worry about not standing out from the stage becuz if you where these colors it makes your skin look ahmazing when the colors pop off each other. you will look like a star!!|||I think yellow looks good on dark complections. I'm not sure if stores will let you rent dresses or not. I wouldn't go with red or purple, they may be too dark.|||I think you could wear just about any color!
I would recommend ivory, white, yellow or a light gold color. Your red dress may also be fine. The lighter color will make your skin tone pop. You could also go with jewel tones like turquoise and hot pink.
You can rent dresses. Check with the local bridal shops.
Good luck!
