Where can I find a stage that raises and lowers into the floor?

I'm working on a project with a small recital hall in which they would like to install a stage that raises and lowers. I've come across a couple of companies that make these stages, but they are on opposite sides of the spectrum. One makes a portable stage that is put together from smaller pieces that have to be stored elsewhere. The other is a mechanical stage that does exactly what we want, raises and lowers into the floor, but because it's mechanical, the cost is getting too high. I was wondering if anyone knows of a retractable stage that can be done without the high end mechanical lifts? I've seen the type that retract into a wall, but what we would like is the same concept, just into the floor.|||I saw Lord of the Rings at the Prince Edward Theatre in London.





The stage there is a moving one and is extreamly impressive, search it on google and one way or another you will be able to locate the company who produced it.
